There are 2 ways to get involved:

As a member, in which you support BikeSafe San Antonio thru your donations:

To become a member, please send us an email at:  BikeSafeSanAntonio [at] live [dot] com.  Please put ‘Membership Request’ in the subject line.  Include in the email your name, contact phone, and reason for joining in the body of the email.  Membership is $20 annually.  We’ll send you instructions on how to get payment to us.  100% of the money raised will be used to accomplish our goals.  All of our committee members are volunteers.   All of our staff are volunteers.

As a committee volunteer, in which you volunteer to participate on one of our many committees: 

To join a committee, please send us an email at:  BikeSafeSanAntonio [at] live [dot] com.  Please put ‘Committee Request’ in the subject line.  Include in the email your name, contact phone, and committee you would like to join in the body of the email.  As a committee volunteer, you tell us how much time & energy you have available.  That way, you can help, without overwhelming your schedule.  Can you help out once or twice a month?  Is there things that you can do to help from the comfort of your home?  We want a lot of people each doing a few things.  Not a few people doing a lot of things.

We also have specific positions for specialized volunteers:

Web-crawler – Someone that can spend a few hours monthly crawling the web for information pertinent to the site.

Grant-writer – Someone that has a basic knowledge & understanding of how to write & submit grants.

Journalistic Photographers – To occasionally cover bike-related events going on in San Antonio.

Op-Ed writers – We are very interested in having local citizens write posts for the site.  Motorists, Cyclists or anyone that has something to say.  Please contact Veronica directly if you are interested in writing a piece for BikeSafe San Antonio. (210-383-4663)
